Dr. Luke is originally from the area having grown up in Sidney, NY. He became involved in FFA and veterinary medicine in high school and discovered it combined many of his interests. Luke began his undergraduate work at SUNY Cobleskill, before transferring to Cornell University where he graduated with his Bachelor’s in Animal Science. Luke joined Leatherstocking in 2018, after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine.
Luke enjoys the diversity of opportunities in mixed animal practice and appreciates the important role animals of all kinds play in their owner’s lives. Luke looks forward to working with clients to best meet their needs and the needs of their animals.
When not at work Luke enjoys spending time with his wife Chelsea (originally from Oneonta, NY) as well as their son Jonah and daughter Eliana. Luke has a variety of hobbies/interests including woodworking, hunting, fishing, playing guitar, and hockey. Luke is glad to be back in New York and looks forward to raising his family in the area he and his wife grew up in and loved.
